Sandra and Andrew had a timeless Jefferson Hotel wedding on a lovely spring day!
Andrew and Sandra met when they both attended The University of Virginia. These two are a sweet couple and destined to be together. When Andrew decided to propose, he did it in a romantic way, similar to something you would see in a movie. They were visiting Paris, and he got down on one knee in front of the Eiffel Tower and popped the question! Cue the happy tears!
These two shared a touching first look between just the two of them at The Virginia State Capitol. When Andrew turned around, his smile went from ear to ear, admiring his gorgeous bride. Andrew had their wedding date engraved into his watch, along with the words “I love you.”
Their wedding ceremony was officiated by Bishop Michael, the Coptic Orthodox Bishop of Virginia, at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Richmond, VA. The ceremony was a lovely celebration of them coming together as one.
Their traditional ceremony involved wedding crowns that signify the relationship between the bride and groom and the honor God grants to the couple.
After their ceremony, guests lined up to blow bubbles as they exited the church. They held their reception at the historic Jefferson Hotel, and everything was elegant and magical!
The magnificent grand staircase served as the perfect backdrop as Andrew and Sandra were introduced as husband and wife. They sat at a charming sweetheart table with a beautiful floral arch behind them.
Their reception was filled with joy, smiles, and laughs, and the dance floor stayed packed with friends and family enjoying themselves before this unforgettable time was over.
