Laura and Andrew had a charming Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden Wedding in Spring!

These two met online through a dating app. Thanks to modern love, they went on a first date and hit it off immediately. They went to Jazz in the Garden at the DC Sculpture Garden, and their conversation never stopped.

Their first long vacation together was in Hawaii back in the fall. Having been there two nights, Andrew couldn't wait any longer to propose! He asked Laura to take a moonlit walk on the beach with him. It was an easy yes for her, and they both laughed and smiled excitedly for the rest of the night!

Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden is a superb wedding venue located in Richmond. The gardens are spectacular and are the perfect location for photographs. This beautiful property offers various areas for your wedding. Laura and Andrew had their wedding ceremony at the Rose Garden, and their wedding reception was in the Robins Visitor Center.

Their wedding day was filled with many unique details. A box was made by Andrew which the ring bearer carried the rings. Their adorable niece and nephew were the flower girl and ring bearer! Laura's mother made her wedding dress, and we were amazed by how stunning it was. She partnered her mother's wedding veil and grandmother's bracelet to complete her look. Laura pinned her bouquet to the same prayer book that her mother and grandmother carried down the aisle when they were married. Andrew added his own distinguished touch by wearing his father's cufflinks.

Before their ceremony started, they shared many first looks, and they were all so touching! Tears streamed down Laura's face when she saw her mother for the first time that day. Before the ceremony, Andrew's groomsmen rallied around him and excitedly shared a hype huddle as they chanted, "He's getting married!"

"Here Comes the Sun" played in the background as Laura walked down the aisle. Each of them had written their vows, and I was very touched by how sweetly they included so many lovely words.

Friends and family came from across the country and even from England on their wedding day to celebrate! A bubble exit was the perfect way to end their magical day. The celebration didn't end there, though, as the day after the wedding, they hosted a pool party at an Airbnb!
