James River Country Club Wedding with Church Ceremony
Meredith and Ben’s James River Country Club wedding was the vibrant pop of color and life we all needed to say goodbye to winter. Their spring celebration was elegant, joyful, and filled with colorful touches from beginning to end.
The couple began their day getting ready at the beautiful James River Country Club. Our team loves shooting at this venue so much! What’s not to love about a waterfront wedding venue with perfect sunsets?
Speaking of sunsets, Meredith’s bridesmaids stunned in citrus-hued dresses of orange, yellow, and pink that matched the sunset perfectly.
After a sweet first look on the property filled with so much shared laughter, the couple made their way to Hidenwood Presbyterian Church for a heartfelt ceremony surrounded by family and friends.
Following Meredith & Ben’s “I dos,” guests were welcomed back to JRCC for cocktail hour on the lawn overlooking the James River. The garden party theme was in full bloom with spring florals and signature cocktails.
Dinner took place indoors, where the mood shifted to become more romantic and intimate. Dozens of glowing candles adorned the tables, creating a cozy ambiance as guests enjoyed a delicious seated meal prepared by the JRCC culinary team.
The evening came alive with music from Forest Hill Band as the newlyweds took to the dance floor, kicking off a night of celebration, love, and dancing the night away.
