Lake Anna Wedding on the Waterfront

Lake Anna Wedding | Anna & Ryan

Waterfront Wedding at Lake Anna

Anna and Ryan had the most beautiful and romantic Lake Anna Wedding on the Waterfront.

Ryan and Anna met while attending Georgia Tech when they were freshmen. One day, while they were both in the dining hall, Ryan approached Anna and asked if they could have breakfast together.

Since they met while having breakfast at college, it was only appropriate for Ryan to pop the question while eating their morning meal on July 4th, 2021. They were at the lake house, and Ryan had made them breakfast. They decided to eat on the dock and enjoy the waterfront views. Anna was so surprised when he got down on one knee and proposed!

This lakeside wedding was dreamy! Once engaged, they knew they didn't want to wait long for their wedding. Since they got engaged at Ryan’s family’s lake house, they knew they wanted to have their wedding there as well. It was the perfect location for their family and friends to gather and celebrate the marriage of these two!

Anna prepared for her day with her bridesmaids. She wore a beautiful gown with cap sleeves and a lace bodice. Along with her dress, she sported fun, white high-top tennis shoes. Once she was ready for her big day, she shared a sweet first look with her father. He was so excited to walk her down the aisle. Anna's bridesmaid wore a burnt orange color, which was the perfect fall color, with the groomsmen and Ryan sporting shades of blue.

The guests faced the lake, with the water as the ideal backdrop for their ceremony. The wedding took place in an idyllic spot nestled among tall trees amid which each of the trees provided a firm foundation, a similar analogy to Ryan and Anna's marriage.

They had a large tent facing the lake for the reception. A canoe that held drinks for the guests was a fun addition to their reception set-up. Their cake table was adorned with gorgeous florals that held a seven-tier cake stand with delicious homemade cakes. Anna did a bouquet toss, which had all the single ladies jumping with anticipation to catch the flowers.

The outpouring of love that Ryan and Anna share is evident with their guests. Their guests had a great time ending the day with lots of dancing. For Ryan and Anna's grand exit, they departed on a boat waiting for them by the dock with a sign that read "Just Married." It was the perfect exit for these two!
